What is the appropriate file size for printing?
Many question from customers when they want to do the large format printing such as Lambda Print / Ink Jet Banner.
How to prepare the digital file, what file size is good for those printing format. How to prepare the scanned inage?
How many megabytes file size?
First of all have to consider the resolution. The common printers prefer 300 dpi. That’s mean there are 300 dot in one inch.
Please see the below table.-
If you are experienced in Adobe Photoshop. Just open the file and on the menu bar click the new canvas size.
Set the size to fit your printing requirement at 300 dpi. For example the 8x10 inches printing size needed 20 megabytes file size.
